Avoidance Tactics

I have a number of great avoidance strategies that I use to put things off and procrastinate, they are:
  • play internet computer games, go and backgammon
  • watch TV
  • go out and have coffee
Doing any of these things stops me from tackling the issues that I want to tackle.

In addition I have a number of avoidance thoughts and feelings, they are:
  • I'm too tired
  • I'm too confronted
  • I can't handle this emotionally
  • I have done enough today already
I am determined to confront these avoidance strategies and just get on top of everything
